Vintage Entertainer Johnny Victory returns to Pickering with his one man show of music across the decades. A regular performer at Pickering 1940s weekend, Johnny brings his wider repertoire of song and dance to us. Evoking memories of childhood, teenage years and songs Mother used to sing, he'll entertain you with a musical journey from the Music Hall years 'Daisy Daisy', 'If you were the only girl in the World' into the roaring 1920s and 30s, with great songs like 'Puttin' on the Ritz and 'Cheek to Cheek'. After the Charlestoning is done, we'll delve into some of Johnny's favourite 1940s and wartime songs, such as 'In the Mood' & We'll Again'. The final journey takes into the 1950s and 60s with foot tapping melodies which are bound to get you singing and out of your seats, 'Rock around the Clock, 'Teenager in Love'. With stong vocals, a warm engaging personality and Johnny's authentic wardrobe of period costumes, this is an evening not to be missed!
